    Powermax complete arming

Just for interest I've compared it with the PowerMax Complete manual, I believe the zone type should be set as "Delay 1" ????

    wireless alarm questions

I'm certainly no expert but yes as you've found I would (almost) put money on ADT using nothing more than a rebranded products. The Visonic systems are designed to easily link to a monitoring system so I would guess all ADT do is program their details in and that's that.

    Powermax complete arming

Hi Melissa, I have set up a PowerMaster (rather than PowerMax) system but I'm sure the configuration would be pretty similar. From memory without a manual nearby, I'm sure the front door contact needed to be set as something like zone type "Entry/Exit 1" ?

    wireless alarm questions

Just to add, I fitted a Visonic PowerMaster system in the summer to a property that due to being fully decorated was a no-go for a wired system. Totally wireless, apart from mains to the panel of course, it couldn't be much easier to install. Once you understand some of the Visonic...

Sorry, my forum default settings were blocking messages from all but 'friends' - amended now  No looks like I'm stuffed with no free zones but would still be interested in your solution!

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Will do, it'll be tonight though I'm afraid as not got all the info to hand on the zones. Currently all the digi outputs will definately be free, as only one panel output was in use before adding this gsm module. Just to explain, the alarm is fitted to a property I have responsibility for...

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Perhaps I haven't been as clear as I should have been... I'm aware it can only trigger 2 different events, the priority event I want to trigger is obviously "Alarm" but as it has a 2nd input to use then having a trigger upon "Arm OR Disarm" is a bonus. I know the triggered 2nd input wouldn't...

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Its one of these.... http://www.adventcontrols.co.uk/gsm-auto-dialer.html Two inputs, using one to trigger on Alarm, want the other to trigger on Arm/Disarm. Works fine on Alarm (wired to bell trigger), and also as per current config (i.e. pulse on entry/exit mode). Not sure how I...

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Bit of feedback on the above... Configured as described, i.e. Custom Output 1 Stage A, 1.1 Armed 1.2 Armed - Inverted 1.3 Not Used - Inverted 1.4 Not Used - Inverted Assigned to Panel Output, attributes of which set to Pulse Period 1, where Pulse Period 1 = 10 seconds...

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Lol, no worries, you had me worried for a mo though - just my luck it'd been added in later firmware! All being well I'll test next week. Thanks again

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Thanks securediam I presume you meant 1.2 armed inverted though ? if only the panel has a Disarmed option it would be simple! Can't test for a week or so but hopefully the logic is.. Er.. Logical !

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Thanks for the reply. I've already got a SMS unit to use so really just want to interface to that rather than adding additional comm units? Armed output? Is that the same as I've described i.e. active when panel arms? If so, still need a method for giving output upon disarm....

    Texecom Premier 48 Custom Outputs

Hi, I'm sure this is possible but haven't quite sussed it yet.... However, I'm trying to work out the configuration required for one of the Custom Outputs so it will give a pulse when Armed, and again when Disarmed - this will then connect to a standalone SMS/Autodialler unit so I get a...

    Replacement bellbox battery

Yes indeed, eBay is great for getting odd bits & pieces that you can't easily find anywhere else, but you do have to watch the prices Off on a slight tangent but I still can't understand why so often winning auction bids on used items can be pretty close to the the price you can get the same...

    Replacement bellbox battery

@secureiam - your Google powers must be stronger than mine if your search 'brought a few up' on the codes I listed! Can you link to one? I came up with nothing! @EightyTwo - thanks, they'll fit in the compartment ok then I take it? Perhaps I should have measured the dimensions whilst up...

    Replacement bellbox battery

I need to replace the batteries in a couple of Flashguard Xtra sounder/strobe but I am finding it difficult to find them. The originals are marked GP280BVHX7 GP 8.4v 280mAh. Google searches give an indication that Texecom Premier FDO-0004 (SKU 42-503055) as equivalent replacement - but...

    Fault with Visonic Powermax alarm

Is it worth trying deleting the detector from the system altogether, then re-enrolling 'as new', see if that clears it. Should only take a couple of mins?
