    Drain-cover sealant

Thank you, that's the stuff I'd found, but it's expensive when I only need a quarter of it!

    Drain-cover sealant

Hi there, We have a drain cover in our utility room, which has no grease at all and from time to time is a little niffy... Manhole grease seems really expensive and we don't need several kilos. Are there any alternatives? Thanks, Mark

    Bathroom Drain Venting Help

Really odd, I can see your pics on my phone but not on the PC. I wonder if the only reason that the room smells a bit, and that the bath is slow to drain, is because the U-bend is blocked or not working in some way? In theory, the water in the U-bend should completely prevent any nasty niffs...

    First time laying blocks

Hi, I'm building a small wall (two blocks high) in the garden. The foundations, despite being pegged out with a spirit level, are not quite level. I started laying concrete blocks today, but as I go along in order to keep them level the mortar underneath is getting a little thinner. Is...

    summer house

Is it possible to get these in the uk? They would be great as where I want to build can flood a few inches sometimes. I'm not sure what they are called.

    summer house

I'll thinking of building summerhouse, for which I'll make a concrete base, and have two things I'd be grateful for input for. Would it make sense to raise the floor structure from the ground a few cm by short "stilts" like a shed, in order to reduce moisture coming up? I was thinking of using...
