You dont have to use legs its possible to use some thing similar to gallows brackets but it all depends on the structure the projection and total weight

No need to fanny with plates just screw it with direct frame fixings through the sole plate

You should get no abnormal flex and dependant on size it shud be constructed in one but doesnt really mater if not as they suply joint strips

Just a thourght can u get plastic pipe cover with enuff depth ? I had a simlar issue were the u trim wasnt deep enuff do i just put cloaking board down either side

Easiest way take ur drill to alocal car spares shop and try away

Damp deal is a big con its just oil based under coat and should not be used for treating damp read the tin its purpose is just to hide dry water marks basicly

I had one it was spot on but i traded it for a 10m boss ally tower tht gets some use and earns quiet a few beer tokens when lent out :mrgreen:

I carnt personal recomend one but imsure if you ring rou d a few companys they wud come and check it for a nominal fee or part of a quote

Take it to any carpenters or most kitchen supliers they will cut it for a few pennies ic you dnt feel able

If there metal good luck as a last resort any machinest could make them but they wont be cheap

I had a similar problem on a rental 3 year owner bourght this cheap sink came with odd size waste and thread size ended up cutting half the threaded section of a old waste and joined them with emetal and then used standard trap a bodge but still working now

Before you do anything id stick a decent moisture meter onit to see if it is worth repairing
