If its a mixer put your hand over the outlet, open the hot tap then open the cold one ,adjust your hand's pressure so the cold flows up the hot side . Try this a few times should force mains pressure through the hot system .

Has the kitchen tap been checked . Broken valve/spindle not turning when handle turned?.

Has he tried back feeding the hot system to the tank ?.

Undo the knurled bit with some water pump pliers (anti clockwise),should be a rubber washer inside .

Have you turned off the cold feed then tried it .

If it emptied the system (pressure dropped ) possible a split in the heat exchanger.

Have you not got an immersion heater you could switch on for a few days ?,rather than put yourself under pressure.

I had a call from a customer one November that there hot water was not lasting as long as before . I turned up at eight o'clock to see her garden in mist from the plant watering system which the installer had connected to her hot pipe (in June ). Amazing display of flowers though .

Could the pan connector be too close to the pan spigot as its at an angle ,cutting off its flow?.

Thanks . On your first picture where you have the shroud lifted to the top ,can you not get a spanner or thin adjustable spanner onto the brass valve . If you take this out (with water off) you should see how the top is attached .It may be just pressed on .

Ok .So is the dots on the tap head painted on or plastic inserts ?.

Does the plastic hot/cold marker on the tap head not prise out ,there should be a screw inside there .

Why not infill the trellis with batons on the top section and raise them up .

It looks like the wire guard is missing from the elbow .I don't know if you can buy separate .

Do the other basins flow into the main drain. Your kitchen waste might be plumbed into a rain water drain or soak way . Try rodding back through main drain or take off the fittings in the kitchen and rod from there .

Does the sink have an overflow ?,is it blocked.

It is supposed to fit inside inlet pipe ,think they say its for a quite fill, although other makes use them as a flow restrictor.

I would double check your incoming electric supply at the fuse board as a burnt fishy smell could mean something arcing .

Is that stick on flashing they have used ?. It will not last very long unfortunately.
