    hi guys got my self confused with diversity using conservatory as on example 6amp mcb ok lighting 66% of total current demand. I have two lights in my conservatory 100 watts each 200watts total = 0.83 amps so 66% of that is = 0.54 amps is this right or is it 66% of the 6 amp breaker...

    mmmmm so if all the appliance are on using 24 amps would it not trip a 20 amp breaker

    so lates say washer,dryer,iron and boiler are on in utility room from looking at my appliances i get 24 amp so putting a kettle on in kitchen as well would make 33 amp not good so put utility room on a radial 2.5 t/e rated at 27 amp 32amp breaker cable approx 10m

    Hi Gentlemen right if a lighting circuit has 10 lights 100watt each = 1000watt divided by 240 volts = 4.2 amps rounded up, so a 6 amp mcb to be used i believe this to be correct so if i got 15 double sockets on 70 meters of 2.5mm t/e how do i work out the design current. thank you

    was trying to stay in the safe zone as much as possible. planning officer is bit of stickler. so if going round the bottom is ok with regs thats what i shall do. will let you know what the stickler said at a later date THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP
