    I have installed a compression flange in the top of my hot water tank, the only problem is that there is a slight leak!! it looks like I need a bigger seal/washer on there and I was wandering what type of material the washer should be made from as the cylinder will get quite hot?? Thanks

    It does go into the loft to a small sealed tank covered with insulation, which then seems to go back down, if it is going to the small tank in the loft (ctrl htg expansion tank) would the tap need to be turned on or off?? cheers

    Thanks for all your replys, I think I will give it ago. Worse case scenario the pump does not kick in and I have to move the CWS to the loft to create enough flow.

    So if I attach this PRV(http://www.screwfix.com/prods/63442/Plumbing/Radiator-Valves/Comap-PRV-With-Gauge-15mm-x-22mm) to the mains reduce it to the same pressure as the hot then have the reduced cold and hot going to the pump would this work?? Thanks
