    Best sanding equipment to use?

You gotta love Pallet wood for being so readily available and being easily turned into worderful things like those chairs... well done! I've got about 200 planks to plane down and with money being tight that wonderful planer thicknesser is just a bit too out of the budget, so i went and...

    Best sanding equipment to use?

My boss suggested the same thing to me about an hour ago... reckon i'll be on the lookout for a good power planer now, thanks for the advice, that's brilliant. I've saved 202 pallets in all from being burnt, the wood is excellent and even though i've given myself RSI by sanding them they do...

    Best sanding equipment to use?

Hey guys, I've got literally a shed load of pallet wood planks to sand up in my ongoing project of building my Pallet shed in the garden. I've sanded most of my walls and have now started sanding the internal cladding, with loads to do still i'm finding it very slow going with the current...

    Sanding belts

Hi there, Probably a really obvious answer here, i've got a belt sander that takes 76mm X 457mm belts, but looking around, especially on eBay the 75mm X 457mm belts are cheaper and also available in bigger multibuy options - is there any harm in using the slightly smaller width belts? Thanks

    Pallet shed music room

Its more the cost as well... woodburners and flue kits are pretty darn expensive, its weighing up the long term benefits of fitting a wood burner vs the cost of a calor gas heater and running costs... especially as this is only a weekend retreat for me, the lads and a few brews. trouble is I...

    Pallet shed music room

Cheers guys, its taken a relatively short time to erect to this stage too, 1 day to collect all the pallets, 1 day to lay the floor and 2 days to erect the walls and get the joists on... last weekend was the most frustrating day because although we worked on the structure all day there wasn't...

    Pallet shed music room

right... managed to sneak off from the wife for 1/2 hour to get the pics together... hopefully they upload ok. Last pic was taken last weekend before the door was fitted, next step is the window frames in this weekend which I managed to get off my neighbour who just so happened to...

    Pallet shed music room

I'll try and get some pics up over the weekend, i've got lots of them but my firewall at work won't let me upload pics, so i'll have to do it from home. For the floor I first laid paving slabs in strategic load bearing points across the base area, this created a nice underfloor ventilation...
