good advice perhaps start at 10mm tic tac just ordered myself one of them marshall town grout floats mate quite reasonable :D

look on there website it says 4hours at 10 mm thick you will have to look into the specs mate but think will be a better solution

justs seems stange to use ply instead of slc and slc instead of ditra think would be a sounder base to just slc it then tile happy days :) think ardex can be tiled in four hours but as advised above i would give it 24

i you are going to use slc why bother laying the ply down in the first place i don't understand ?

whats under the vinal ? don't think your floor should be moving to that extent probery best to investigate further before Covoring up the problem

have you made the panel so you can remove for plumbing ?

yeah looks like laminate mate pretty sure you fix the beading to the skirting not the floor silicone wont help you

with the Knowledge you have obtained from here you will be able to demand from the start and get a quote to suit all the best to you :)

i agree with everything Richard says i would proberly use tile backerboard you are the customer demand what he has told you as not overkill it will insure it lasts :)

some seal before laying some dont but you must seal them before and after grouting, 4mm grout line would be fine make sure they are adhesive, and dust free before sealing

is it green plasterboard ? witch is needed in a bathroom tile straight on it unless shower area witch will need tanking !

myself i always use bagged addy have used green star on occasion with no problems its easy to use and spread as a novice

yes its called tanking mate a kit is quite expensive though think i pay about £50 for a bal tanking kit

yes you could use bal green star with a mosaic trowl

grout is not waterproof and water will soak through onto your plasterboard
