yeah you can get that it makes the grout waterproof so it is not porus therefore no staining not sure how long it lasts though, you might have to reaply every so often :) it does not seal the tiles though but you wont have to if its a glazed porcelain.

if you was to buy it mate its about £20 per bag whatever the tiler gets it for is his business i am afraid you have not paid over the odds but i feel he has not passed his discount on to you

make sure they are clean, use a good quality adhesive no need to scratch

you need to know what is under the tiles to take account of tile weights if its plaster then the tile weight should not exeed 20kg/m² including grout and adhesive and 32kg/m² when tiling direct onto plasterboard. plus you have to be sure that the tiles Underneath are stuck soundly to the wall.

you have to mitre them at 45 degrees then file them then grout or you can butt them up to each other

my matterials are always included in my price so there is no misunderstanding search to get a price for the said adhesive if its more expensive than what you paid your tiler for it whats the problem :)
