Rotherberger Ropump Super Plus - drain/toilet unblocker

I have one and tbh it rarely gets used - for one thing the outlet is too big for a whb, you cant beat a drain rod and a 4" plunger for WCs and it takes the arms of garths big brother to use on a kitchen sink - save yourself £65 and get the smaller version from BQ - if that wont shift most sink...

    Overfow of cistern not working

yes - they are pretty common in flats to be connected to the bath overflow although most new cisterns have the combined syphon/overflow - and is it just me but I'm not a big lover of the torbeck valves? - they seem to cross-thread as soon as you take them out of the packet and the thread seems...

    HW cylinder boiling over?

who needs college when you've got this place :D - seriously though I always thought the main sympton of a failed coil was dirty/discoloured water coming through the hot water taps?

    HW cylinder boiling over?

Cheers Chaps - if it is a failed/split coil wouldnt the cylinder keep filling up, eventually causing it to leak again? and why only when the hot water is on? - if so I better get back in the morning and isolate the supply to the f+e tank
