    The board is an old proteus type and im pretty sure no rcbo's are availiable for these, there will be no socket on the ccu, personally I think channeling out 50mm deep in any wall must affect the strength of the wall ?. I think I will need to fit a small rccb board next to the existing board...

    sorry not enough info on my part !! They just standard sockets in the upstairs of a house !! also are there any regs about back boxes ? these have just an 'arch' of metal with 2 x 3.5mm holes in that tighten against the wall

    The plumber has refused to supply a 2 element tank as its already paid for, ive suggested connect the water to 24 hour as that seems to be how it was wired before the fire,

    A new supply has been installed by the Electricity board (after fire damage, new meter etc etc) , there is now a 4 pole isolater, 1=24 hours 2=space heating 3=economy7 4=neutral, will i need 3 seperate fuse boards ? 1 for water, 1 for storage heaters and 1 for standard board ?. i havent seen...

    Its a chap who works in the factory, always sticking his nose ! He reckons hes a qualified sparks but I have my doubts. It is a tncs system, I was thinking of putting an rcd in on the wall before the cable exits am I going over the top here ? it will be easily accesable as its next to the door...
