frost stat is fitted at where it said boiler (on the wall to outside) please see attached picture i am not surprise if the frost stat kick off the boiler but it put the heating up on the whole house. is it normal? many thanks

i woke up another night and found out that the boiler is fire up around 00:10 till 2am and the heating in the whole house is on. I didn't set anything on the timer for heating and just override it when i need. and in the morning the radiator is warm so i guess it was on around 5-6am...

just out of interest, i think each of the bulb i got attach with a 20w-50w transformer? what is switch mode lamp drivers? Thanks

I though Philips said that their LED will work with existing transformers. I could be wrong. I just not sure if i want to try the 10W ones now. :cry:

update: bought a box of 10 PHILIPS MASTER LED MAS LEDspotLV D 7-35W MR16 WW 24D and it does not work.... :cry: it only on for half of second then it went off again. I think I need to sell those and go to the GU10 route.

Eric, I dont understand what you mean by some one will change it for another make and it will fail? you mean that if the bulb is change to another make and it will fail? I did think to change to GU10 but 20+ bulb will take me forever to get it done as it needs to be done one by one...

thanks 333rocky333 after reading the Philips led page I think the Philips Master LED Spot will work on existing transformer. now I need to buy one and test and if it works then I need 20. lol :D

Is that mean I need to try and error? I had a look on ebay for philips mr16 LED but didnt see which one will work or not, will anyone have experience on this? many thanks

Bit of a stupid question, I got a kitchen/dinner with about 20 of MR16 halogen which each one have individual transformer (20W-60W) Now I would like to change to LED but I had a look online and they said that I need to change the transformer as well but I also saw some sales site saying that...
