    Immigrants built Britain

I don't think so. The UK national debt is primarily owed to UK institutions and citizens. The government sells bonds to these institutions and guarantees regular interest payments on them. A lot of these payments are used to pay private pensions, so I guess the interest generated on these...

If the residents of a village are mostly white, does that prove they must automatically be racist

They could end up on an endangered species list. May need to import breeding pairs from the remaining white parts of Europe and release the offspring into the wild outside of Wetherspoons.

I used to drink in the White Horse in Acton. As far as I know, no Black horses have complained.

    Panorama - damp/mould

Years ago , the company I worked for sent us to replace a lead valley which was supposed to be leaking. Stripping out the slates covering the old lead Valley should have been straight forward, but because the roof space had been sprayed with this foam crap , the slates were all stuck together...

Labour took a £9 million donation from a foreign source Mr Chakrit Sakunkrit

The money saved by getting rid of foreign and domestic interference in elections by private interests , could be worth the extra costs. It wasn't so long ago that MPs were privately funded , that led to massive corruption.

It's only money. Anyway , who does the country owe this money to. I believe a lot of it belongs to British investors who rely on the interest paid to fund the pensions of British workers.

Labour took a £9 million donation from a foreign source Mr Chakrit Sakunkrit

One solution to the problem of corruption in political party funding would be to ban private donations to political parties. The state should fund political parties, MPs are already funded by the state. If these parties were depending on the people for financing instead of foreigners with...

One problem these days is that some houses can be overinsulated and not enough ventilation. Doors and windows are sealed units ,modern roofs need vents ect.

    Laziness

It all depends how you define laziness. People work a 40 hour week , theoretically there is nothing to stop them working 80 hours a week. Why don't the lazy bustards work 80 or a 100 hours a week, maybe their wages should be cut to 'incentivise' them to work harder for less.

    Laziness

I know people who do that. This bloke owns a lot of houses bought with mortgages. He spends his time in Thailand while his agent collects the rents and manages the properties. Over the years his mortgage liabilities have decreased while his assets values have increased, all paid for by his...

    Moving to Russia?

I don't support war on anyone but given the circumstances, I think war was inevitable.

    Moving to Russia?

Not supporting Ukraine doesn't mean that someone supports Putin, anymore than not supporting Israel makes someone a Hamas supporter.

    May god be with you.

Just like the early Russian Bolsheviks, who suppressed Christianity and made Atheism official state policy. They also lifted all restrictions on Jews and made anti semitism punishible by death,Russia was the first state to do so. History could be repeating itself.

    May god be with you.

Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet rather than the son of God. Jews believe Jesus was a charlatan trying to pass himself off as the messiah.

    Reform has a Russia problem

The financial markets seem happy with the budget. Interest rates on public borrowing are still low.
