Drain Down Worcester 30CDI Conventional Boiler

A conventional boiler isn't going to have isolation valves for a start, or at least they shouldn't. On another note, the drain point involves removing cover, shouldn't be done by someone who doesn't know what they're doing... Ie someone "handy" with boilers and plumbing but who doesn't know...

Call a few local oil installers to get installation quotes, they will be able to explain best method and then you can compare prices etc.

    Combi letting by through overflow.

Pressure relief valve is passing water to outside. Whether it's activated as expansion vessel is flat and boiler pressure has risen to 3bar, thus opening valve as a safety measure or whether engineer had used valve to empty boiler when doing previous repair and it hasn't seated properly due to...

Cheers everyone. Yeah it is old round cast iron I believe so am going to see of there is enough room in front for space for back of new switch/cover and get my mate to try to make some kind of plate adaptor like I posted above. Failing that I will just have to be careful with wires and...

New switch/socket plate with old box- adaptor?

Yeah seems to be screwed in by a bar from above and not enough room to twist out, walls just been papered so was hoping for some kind of adaptor plate, but every sparky I've spoken to said no such thing available. Thought this would be relatively common. Cavity wall if that helps.
