    HOW DO I HOLD A COMPOST BIN DOWN ??

    My "Green Fingered" wife tells me that Compost bins don't have a bottom in, & they must sit on soil to start working. So put a weight on its top until it starts getting full & always cut the stuff as small as possible. Hope this helps. JonB

    Thank you DIYFUN for that bit of sarcasm about the use of Google. If it is obsolete it is on sale nearly everywhere. I have found from a Cartridge reseller that the print head is built in to the cartridge similar to Lexmark No.16. Thanks anyway JonB

    Hi All, Not a plumber & this sounds a little off centre But it looks like the top of the pan & the base with the outlet are 2 pieces. So the outlet pipe could be put at any position & the the top put on with putty or the like. :wink:

    Slick in Germany First I would mark the casing felt tip or centre pop, We seldom bothered with cleaning the bearings just replaced with new sealed ones probably any high speed grease would do. I dont know if you have bought bearings before but they are measured by the bore the outside...

    Not an electrician. But a retired maintenance fitter in a door manufacturing factory, with allot of varied wood working machines. It is not difficult to strip an electric motor, probably needs cleaning out (sawdust gets everywhere) & lube the bearings or replace same.

    I think you will struggle to get just the plug. I ended up getting plug & fitting from *crewfox. Basket strainer £4.88 Number 97562 JonB
