I was not going to buy any 10mm pipe I have 6ft laid in the garage. 8mm couplings dont seem to be readily available, Its not a question of being tight. Thanks to all the smart Alec's.

I am moving a rad in the morning which is on 8mm pipe. I need to cut & join the said 8mm pipe, to save getting 8mm couplings will a section of 10mm pipe do instead the bore seems just over 8.5mm??

Had something similar in a house I had they were gas wall heaters, the flu came out about 18" above the floor. They were removed when Rads were put in.

I am totally ignorant about chimneys, but read this with interest. Surely if a chimney is shared how can a flue liner be put in without blocking the other persons side?? :shock:

I'm not familiar with the Nissan, but on the Mondeo you would have to compress the road spring to relieve the downward pressure, then take out the 2 inboard bolts.
Or Haynes Manual.
