what about the height of up F and E tank, the height shud be in relation to pump power

that is a air separator designed to remove air particals. corrosion ans sludge from system maybe blocking cold feed. how high is tank in loft in relation to air sep and pump. u need a good height to give the neutral point

make sure the vent to the tank rises a minimum of 18 inches above water level

the expansion vessel cushions they increase in pressure when system gets hot, the pressure shud rise around 2 bar. if there not air charge in it the pressure will shoot up to 3 bar which will cause the pressure relief valve to open and discharge water pressure out side, which wud leave the 0.5 bar

it looks like it piped up strangly, with the tee before pump.

also do all ur radiators have trv,s on

you have a s-plan, which uses two valves, one controled by cyl stat and other room stat. there shud be some sort of by pass on pipe between pump and two valve. if non this may create ur noise problem.

when C is displayed, and blue light is flashing this means boiler has reach temp, and is standing by when water temp drops to light up again

apparently independent engineers can use british gas academies to achieve quals, as they all have acs assesment centres in them.

i put then vertical, but can go horizontal as long as it points downward slightly to stop air seizing it

you lost the charge in the expansion vessel

yeah the big silver cap, unscrew with a rag under, abit of water will come out

have u taken cap off pump and checked it spinning

header tank prob isnt high enough at least half metre above highest part of system

he need check size of pipe and that it protected from frost and also it terminates properly, details are in installer book.

ptfe tape will seal it, works for me all time

u got enough system pressure, the pump auto vent open, and pipes in loft lagged
