Hi
I will be hiring someone via one of the find-a-builder type websites to replace a broken electric shower with exactly the same model but lower power (9.5 Kw ->8.5 Kw).
What should I ask for in terms of certifications etc if any? I am more worried about the electric part of the...
The second picture didn't load last time, since the question about make ..
I've now got the same PIR.
In our bathroom the pull switch only operates a light, there is a black, red and green-yellow wire, how do I connect it to the PIR?
Thanks
Update: it was the starter draining too much power when attempting to start the car (that's what mechanic said).
Car starts well now, but I have the engine light coming on every time I stop with engine working (that actually started just before my trip to the garage when I tried to jump start...
good point, I will check the lights
Also my neighbour did mention some time ago that my reverse lights were not working, not sure if this is of any relevance though
That is what I did this morning, the new battery was charging for 20 hrs, in the morning I put it into the vehicle and tried to start the car immediately, - nothing happened. The jump-start was shortly after that attempt.
Not sure if I did it correctly, - set voltmeter to 20, connected black terminal to the engine, red to the bodywork - was zero all the way through.
Just managed to jump-start it this morning from the 1st attempt, no problems whatsoever. Took it for a short drive, no warning lights or any...
Thanks!
If it was the starter, would it still jump-start ?
What about the bad earth connection, is it possible to check this somehow/ clean some connectors ?
Hi
About 3 weeks ago my 51-reg diesel Vectra wouldn't start after it was left unused for several days with temperatures below zero.
Called AA, they jump-started it easily, I then managed to key-start it again in several hours but didn't drive, just moved the car to another parking space...
So what do people normally do in this situation? It is -10 outside and I have to wear two pairs of socks and fluffy slippers, surely it is not normal. It is on the wall opposite to our gas fireplace, so the air drifts through the whole living room even when there is a sofa on the way.
Is there such thing, I couldn't find anything in google/ebay ?
I know you can't block them for a number of reasons, but the one I have in the living room produces quite a lot of cold air drought and the wall radiators obviously do not help much to heat the floor. I was thinking of installing...
Please see the picture, these radiators must be 15-20 y.o.
I managed to remove one (top one) by pulling it off, but part of the screw was already exposed and, I believe, I broke some small plastic bit from the inside by doing so.
I really fail to see which screwdriver I could use to...
Yep, did more measurements in different areas and directions and it seems to be uneven by up to 5 mm in some places.
Is it too bad ? You can't really feel that it is bouncy while walking, one can only see from the perspective that it is actually waving.
Thanks for your replies.
Please see my comments below.
you need a long strait edge to check more than 2mm up or down can cause this problem
=== nope, measured it this way - seems to be flat
you have a 12mm expansion gap all the way round with nothing in it !! === I have 15 mm all around...
Hi
Half finished fitting laminate floor (Kronofix) in our living room and noticed it feels sort of springy/bouncy when walking on it. I used the high-performance underlay from Homebase...
