    Hansgrohe flexi connections

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your comments. The tap is already permanently attached to the other end of the flexi's and doesn't unscrew as you would expect. I'm helping out a mate with fitting his bathroom and his dad acquired the tap from a site. the bars for the pop up...

Anyone tell me the preferred method for connecting to these. Only flexi's I've used before have just the standard tap connection. Thanks Martyn[/img][/i]

High PFC discovered prior to NIC inspection on monday!!

So i'm officially compliant! NIC representative was a very nice bloke. wasn't fussed by the readings. He even said "who cares if you've got a 0.01, you've got a great earth path don't worry about your tester!!" You guys worry too much :D :D !! Didn't like my voltage tester which has...

High PFC discovered prior to NIC inspection on monday!!

so, wander lead resistance = 0.69 Ze test with wander lead = 0.69 Ze with standard lead = 0.01 So back up protection from the cut out fuse it is then! The supply transformer takes up a space which could have been a parking space or a single garage! that includes space around it. Its...

High PFC discovered prior to NIC inspection on monday!!

Im also not sure what your expecting me to do with a long lead? am I just being a bit slow! leads were nulled and checked and twice. it did read a 0.01 on one of the Ze tests!! The development is less than 10 years old and the supply transformer was installed at the time so im guessing...

Fixing boxes to a tanked wall.

I've had to do this a few times. Its understandable if the owner/ builder doesn't want to build a stud wall inside of the tanking. If nothing else it eats up space! I used adhesive, think it was pink grip but there is better out there. Needs to be quite stiff and fast setting so the boxes...

    What's this???

Not come across this before. Presumably a thermal cut out?? It's on the flow as it enters the megaflow. The zone valve is a sunvic which presumably works in a slightly different way. If anyone can enlighten me on this and why its like this I would be very greatful!!

Y plan with 6 core and 5 core valves

Job done, spoke to the plumber and the customer again and there is some dispute as to who said it was a Y plan. I think it was a slip of the tongue by the plumber! 28mm valve was wrongly supplied by the plumbers merchant! could of had it done by 3.30 if I knew it was an S plan to start with!
