Moisture in ceiling - advice please!

Very fair point about dehumidifier extracting moisture from air ! I think what I meant is that the dehumidifier was having an effect on the moisture levels on the ceiling - by sucking moisture from the air by the damp ceiling - or was just affecting the general moisture in the room. I suspect...

Moisture in ceiling - advice please!

I think the coping stones on the parapet are simply too small - almost no overhang on one side; maybe 30mm on the other. I think I need to get them all replaced etc. Who knows how sufficient the DPC is underneath - the builders I used were proper cowboys. Given the issues with parapet roofing...

Moisture in ceiling - advice please!

thank you for all the responses and sorry for taking so long to reply...I totally forgot and didn't see any notifications about replies to my thread. In answer to some of the questions/comments: 1. I have Dryzone Moisture Meter Detector from Amazon - see pic below. I put it in masonry/building...

Moisture in ceiling - advice please!

I have a question about alternating moisture levels in plasterboard. Our flat roof is 1 year old and the paintwork in the plasterboard ceiling, right by the parapet, has been peeling off and which appears to be due to a water leak from the roof. There does not appear to be any other water...

think there will be a small fall - think the requirement is 1cm fall for every 40cm of horizontal?

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

It would be inside -> outside -> inside

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

Yes, with my proposal I'd be taking the pipe external, then returning it to the inside to connect to the existing stack.

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

Not possible because of the space between the outside wall and door when opened. Also there’s a window on the outside wall which would interfere with where the concealed cistern goes.

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

Here is a drawing of the proposed layout. Toilet will have concealed cistern. The main reason we are doing this is so we can fit a double vanity on the wall opposite the door. Thanks!

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

Thanks - the horizontal plane would still have the necessary fall - do you still think having 3x bends is problematic?

Bends in soil pipe (horizontal plane)

We are relocating our toilet. The soil pipe connecting the toilet (in its new position) and the vertical soil pipe will need to have 3x 92.5 degree bends on the horizontal plane (the overall horizontal soil pipe length will be about 2.5m and would have a fall of 1cm for every 40cm). Is this...
