    If it's like Joe says a scuff from the frame a china rubber may not work,tried it on a sink before marked by the tap turning.Used a little bit of limescale remover and a scotch brite pad.Belive it or not it removed the scuff and left no tell tale signs.

    Why cant you dot and dab the aqua panel?If normal plaserbrd adhesive is the issue use some powdered tile adhesive then fix through into blockwork.

    I normally give it coat of acrylic primer mainly to stop it absorbing all the moisture from the adhesive.
