    and as far as i am aware, blue "lights" only cause problems on motor vechiles (boy racers etc) if i can find the right type of blue led, im goimg ahead and fitting them to my bell box.

    yes i can see what your saying, they could be a little bright. not sure about the legialitys of blue leds on non alarmed systems syre i have seen blue comfort leds before.

    someone clarifty this for me. the leds are green on the bell box (texecom) i want to rip these out and replace for blue. on my mulitimeter, the led uses around 2v when flashing. can i simply replace these leds with some 12v blue ones, with a slightly brighter ones? the green ones are...

    been using ebay for new and used goods for 10 years never had a problem, somethngs i would not buy, but for my hobby items, ebay is the place for me, especially for high end pro equipment that is not normaly available or is far to expensive to purchase new.

    the 2 alarm terminals need bridging with your resistor, then put one leg of another resistor into one alarm terminal, the other leg goes into one terminal of the tamper. and you can avoid all that hassel of using pirs contacts etc with built in resistors.

    you need to find out from your manual, first what resistors your alarm uses (mine uses different ones for eol and the tamper) if yours is double eol, you will connect 4 wires to the pir (2 for power 2 for the pir/tamper) once i see your manual for your alarm i will be able to help you...
