    aurora downlights

    The inner collar twists 90degs and should drop out, you sometimes need to push up a little when you try to turn them. I find it easier to push/twist against one 'lug' with my thumb and the knuckle of my forefinger on the other....... Basically twist here........

    Engraving electrical outlets

    My local Timpsons key cutting place do a 'we'll engrave anything' service, you pay per character (I think it was 10p a letter) I had a couple of faceplates done by them last year.... only problem I had was filling in the engraved letters with modeling paint to make them more legable......

    Part P approved doc update ?

    Does anyone know if theres a new Part P approved doc or update due out ?? Just wondering out loud as the doc obviously has many references to BS7671:2001 and as we are now all working to BS7671:2008............

    I know that the bonding must be correctly installed and verified if I were adding to or altering a circuit, but I wasn't sure about it in this circumstance as its a like for like replacement of a damaged accessory.
