OK, OK, but the word NOT is a big trip up in most candidates that sit the 2382. It's a tricky way to write a question in my opinion.

There are three answers that are confirmed by a polarity test. One of the four does NOT.

It's the question format.. the way it's written makes it look like there are three possible answers. It's not really a test on knowledge, its a test of reading skills.

I nearly got tripped up by the key word being used by City and Guilds at the moment, NOT. Take away the word NOT and re-read the question. This will leave you with ONE answer, the odd one out, and the correct answer. These are the questions formats that I drum into candidates to look out...

Have you asked your C&G EV directly to be sure? The 2392 unit specifically states you can't train on the assessment board but the 2391 unit doesn't.

Crikey. A lad I recently failed on the first assessment during the practical could not distinguish between a low resistance and a short circuit. HE fell at the first hurdle and we found out his two attempts with us at the 2382 (17th Edition) were actually his 4th and 5th attempts. His results...
