Chipboard Screw Not Gripping In Pre-Drilled Hole?

Coat it in wood glue prior to screwing it in. Or can you use another hole in the runner?

LED Sleeper lights / patio / SWA

Can you go for a IP54 weatherproof outdoor socket box. Maybe able to mount the driver in the case too?

New vinyl floor shows plyboard ridges

If you have had a proper kitchen refurb don’t scrimp on the flooring. Take it out and tile or LVT etc. Otherwise you will always wonder why you didn’t bother doing it properly

    Best way to board window

Is this a wind up? Just remove the window and have it bricked up using the bricks removed for the new window. you can then plasterboard and plaster internally and have a nice job. If you are going for a creepy cabin look then disregard what I said and find some drift wood and fix it in place

Strip paint from aluminium garden furniture

I think you have probably realised by now why they were given to you. May be as cost effective to purchase a new set rather than have them blasted then recoated

Strip paint from aluminium garden furniture

I am not sure I like the blow torch on aluminium to be honest. How about a light coat of paint stripper?

    Garden drainage

It really depends if they are installed when the wall is built or retrospectively. There are quite a few articles which should assist you with a google search

    Floplast Domestic Channel Drain Installation.

Follow the instructions. Lay it on sand and surround with concrete. Depth depends on the length, surrounding surface and the fall required. Take a common sense approach

    En-suite in new loft conversion

Got to say that looks like waaaayyy to much trouble. Martins suggestion would have been the faster option, possibly not as interesting thread though. Spider-Man approach to installing a shower tray

    Handle faceplate stuck

As above, unscrew the collar on either side to access the mounting screws. Possibly worth loosening those to see if it helps

    Paving slabs don’t match

You can always highlight the error as you received thinner pavers. It is unfortunate you decided to fit them anyway which I would suggest will make it difficult to build a case. Personally I would order the thicker ones and take a chance. Only appears to be 4 you need anyway?

    Tile beading around recess

I’m not sure if this helps but I have read your post several times and looked at the pictures and I still have no idea what’s needed. Doors, windows, sinks?!?? Maybe a drawing or photo including all the challenges? It could be me, it’s been a long week

Astra J Rear Waser and Wiper stopped working

The stalks on the old Vauxhall’s were notorious for packing up. Could be a coincidence but they aren’t particularly expensive to replace. You could drop the steering cowelling and test it easily enough. The older models would slide out of the column with the loom still plugged in. You can stick...

Painting Facia (how many top coats)

You would be the best person to make that call mate. Depends on the prepared surface below and how well the coverage is. You aren’t going to see it from the ground I suspect so if a 2nd coat is needed just apply it without sanding

    Refelting shed roof

I would remove and replace. It will ensure the nails make proper contact with the wood rather than just the old felt.

Blanks for flue and dryer outlet.

If you are using a core drill for the new boiler flue can you not use the removed brick in the old hole and mortar in position?

    Wet soil question

Just a guess but if the rain is directed to a certain area the land will tend to hold more moisture overtime. Appears to be shaded due to the fence and shrubbery. My 2ps worth :-)
