however keep the low voltage wiring in seperate Junction boxes to the Mains wiring!

smash a hole through the wall and ask them to push it out and shove it in a meter box.. will still probably cost the same, even with 'no' disconnection! They also have to cover there arses insurance wise etc.

Thats some interesting wiring in the top one.. some of the stuff on the right looks ok but then aditional stuff looks messy, as do the earths. Merlin Gerin do some nice boards.

in the cu I would leave around 1" exposed.. At the Henley.. Non should be visible IMHO.. Tape or coloured cable tie should be used to indicate phase colour (not nececarilly needed imho) David

Also technically speaking low voltage lights may take a tiny bit more power as the transformers arent 100% efficient. Id personally use mains ones, as I hate the thought if the transformers failing.
