hi pips! i have a customer that i do fire alarms and e/m lighting for, she lets her propertys out.. she has asked me to do the inspections, i assume that you do a visual inspection and not a test! do i have to be PART P? can i pick the certs up from the wholeseller? also if i can do this...

does any one know what sort of smoke alarm arrangment is required in a rented house and is it a legal reqirement? cheers

are you looking for an internal siren or a speaker? as a speaker is the norm! what panel do you have? as there may be volume agustment on it! :wink:

your system has locked out! try taking the red led off ya battery and cut the mains! either by the fuse in the panel or fuse spur next to the panel or the fuse at fuse baord. try connecting battery again then main! punch in ya code..... all should be fine now! what system do you have as ill tell...

hi all. here is my problem! there are 5 houses in question, 9, 10,11,12,14. my neighbour @ 9 is the end of the sewer, they had sewage coming up through there down stair shower, so they called the council to rod the drain! there is a man hole in 9,10 and 14,... the blockage was cleared, but...

if i was you, call a small alarm company to change your standby battery and give it a good service, so you can start securing your property! i would say for a batt and service you are looking @ £85 :wink:

i had a none starting berlingo, i took in to the main dealer, where they sort the fault, it was an elecriacl problem! when they called to tell me its all dun and the final cost, they asked me if the drivers door locked with the central locking! it did when i took it there, they did say they...

if none of the pirs are lighting up, it will be a blown glass fuse on the main pcb

if i was you i would cahnge it! the output from the battery will be fine untill you drop the mains for say 30 mins... glad i could help :wink:

your system has locked out! your battery well be out of date, needs changing every 4 years. power your system down, mains and battery, re-apply battery then mains. will go into tamper, punch in your code or 1234, it happens on the ck700l range alot! now get a new battery! :wink:

wireless systems are no way as good as wired, as in quility and value! why go monitored when the old bill does not turn up?

a cpo will not give any alarm company out to the public! iv tried to get on the police listing for years but the say they cant put company details 4ward
