hi there
i would say that ya panel has locked out! just like a pc!!!!!!
you need to take the panel lid off (the main brain) disconect the battery then the mains fuse, re-power the system using the battery first then install the fuse!
while you are doing this, the alarm will start ringing...
i do the servicing which brings in min 20k, i also have lackys installing!
i like the easy bit!
sax i love the signature you are using
sorry for stealing the thread! ill stop now!
cheers all
With all due respect breezer, based on this and previous posts you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to intruder alarms. Sometimes it is better to stick to what you know...
ere ere!
im so fed up with reading sections where peeps are giving un-true facts!!!
this does not...
hi there!
i can remember a fault on the "9200" with the key pad! there was a ribon that attach's the pad to the pcb!
if its the same as the"9200" remove the ribon, clean, dry and re-connect! ow and make sure we are powered down!
i hope this is the same on the 9100
yepp
iv owned this company for 5 years, i have about 600 anual customers, i use good parts, the £30 is a 24hr service, iv only had 3 out of hours calls in 5 years!
touch wood lol
as i do all the servicing, i try my upmost best for a fast responce!!!!!
hi guys
one of my customer rents out 18 propertys, the letting agent says that there 3 & 4 bed property need to be tested every 5 years!!
is this correct?
ifso what test/safety checks will be carried out?
can any sparks do it?
or will they have to be with one of the part P companys...
i would install a wireless system in 4hrs! (IF I HAD TO) but honnestly i would go for a wired veritas system all the time!
if you really need to install a wireless system, book a day on it
i expect it would be easy if it was a 8+, as iv dun loads of these! but im not a diyer as such!
i didnt think there was much adt software in them!
did you try and istall it?
no my friend,
there are pins that just default the user and eng codes! yes the rkp looks poo with small buttons, but these pins have saved me hours of time!
all the best
NO NO NO, there is no re-programing required! on the pcb in the main panel there are 2 pins! power down system, short pins and repower, release short!
code is now 1234....
these are the only changes
hi people
is there still a problem with this system?
