clearly this bedroom fitter is NOT part p, he removed wall lights the connected a flex to the existing cables ( connections are unable to be veiwed unfortunatly ) the flex was left live all 3 ends touchable! :twisted: the heating was on fall and i was sweating big time, its not worth...

hi guys i was doing a first fix alarm in a new complete house, when i was working around a bedroom cupbaord fitter! i noticed that all the bedrooms had wall/uplighters in them, and the new cupboards where covering 2 of them, i noticed that they had been remove as they where on the floor...

why should any sparks become part p? they say its law! how many part P police do you see out and about? but saying this CORGI got there in the end! so i think its time that will help! and lots more help from local councils

hi paul, you say the overhead has an alarm cable on already! if i was you i would run a seperate overhead for your mains as low voltage should run on its own! also you will need a heavier duty overhead to carry SWA, for your telephone run a solid core cable with your alarm over head... 4...

thanks for your advice! i have laminate flooring down at the moment which has some sort of underlay! will this be ok to re-use as a combi underlayment (DPM + sound-insulation) ? am i correct in thinking normal PVA glue is ok to glue the t&g???

I have a room which is approx 20m2 which I have purchased a solid french pine flooring for, please can someone advise me the bast way to lay this? our floor is concrete and has the plastic membrane as it is only 10 years old. Any advice would be much appreciated. :D
