As long as one of the ligs on the metal backbox is fixed and you are using metal screws to attach switchI belive this suffices as the earth. HOWEVER - what's the hard in a link wire between the back box & the front plate for belt & braces, it's what I have done with all of mine.

Something has been puzzling me about the wiring in out kitchen. The dishwasher & washing M/C are not built, however the washing M/C has a wall mounted switch to isolate it without needing to pull it out. The dishwasher however does not, seams a little odd to me. The wiring is untouched...

Latest update.... Behind the cooker, across the entire wall under the wall mounted units we are popping up a bespoke cut, colour matched glass splashback to match the colour on the wall.

I worry about the fact that whenever I looked at IKEA kitchens bits were hanging off. HAving said that I've seen a friends, recently installed & was impressed, seamed good for the money. Things like gluing the joints when assembling makes a huge difference.

We are hunting for some small rectangular wall tiles in dirrenet hues or Beige/Brown, satin or mat preferably. Really struggling to find any though, so any pointes gratefully received.

JUst wondering, on the new kitchen we I am installing real wood worktops, what's the best way to seal between the tiled splashback & the timber worktop? Obviously anything that could potentially trap water will promote mould growth.

Maybe I'm being dim, but I'm looking for a double radiator h300mm x w1100mm with 3900btu or greater, a google search has drawn a relative blank, was wondering if anybody could please suggest a good online retailer? Thanks
