thanks again doyle as said in first post it happend 11 months ago ,same symptons exactly.the weather was very hot .it sorted itself out and went to dealers but like any inttermitent fault could not be found. will take it to auto electrician tomorrow if it starts!!! graham

timmy make sure you also get extra hoses for dumping, the standard ones are always to short i use the kamco machine with the filters. power flushing does get a bad name.i went to a job the other day to service the boiler, got talking to the customer and they told me they had a flush a year ago...

I agree with you, all the i fit are the same . but if the op has dashed down to b&q and picked up a digistat 1 in a hurry he has got the wrong one, hence the 1 draw the digista 1 is hard wired only

One more point check you have got a new RF1 and not a digistat 1 the digistat 1 has 2 AA 1.5 batterys the rfi has 4 AA 1.5 batterys GRUM
