    Inline water resistant switch,

I am fairly sure a new switch is going to fail quite quickly, when the switch makes contact, it arcs quite a lot, and on the inside of the switch you could see all the tell tail oxidation. Its like the switch wasnt really man enough for the job. i was thinking of something that looked...

    Inline water resistant switch,

Hi Guys, Wondering if any of you might know of something that would be suitable. My pressure washer on off switch has failed. Replacement cost is ten quid, but problem is it broke once because it was cheap and crap so likely to break again. And i hate paying ten quid for some rubbish that...

    Foundations at my boundary.

Yes i suppose this could be done. I guess your saying the foundation would be as wide as the wall, but the depth would be designed to take such load. This would make it on the edge both sides in this instance. ta A

    Foundations at my boundary.

Our neighbour has a blockdrive, which would be good not to disturb. There is no difficulty in making them wider and deeper and our side. also, It seems the retaining wall is our boundary. Further back on the same line, our garage is actually built on top of it. We were hoping that we...

    Pulling Main Fuse?

My DNO came to investigate the earth at my request, they just cut off the seals, yanked the fuse out, did a quick test and F offed, and said "stick the earth in the neutral it'll be fine". They didn't bother resealing it. There is also a henley block between the supply and the new meter...

    Frozen Toilet!

If you look at the connectors the rubber colar is part of the pan connector. it sounds like your not overly confident, perhaps it might be better to get someone in? Also might not be the best thing to start before everything closes for christmas. A

    Frozen Toilet!

The slightly extendable pan connector should be able to make it from the pan to the external soil pipe without the need of an extension pipe. A

    Frozen Toilet!

I would try screwfix, yes looks right. I am not sure about all your stages, all you do is push it all together, a bit washing up liquid to help it slip together is handy..
