    Building insurance and cracks?

If they have not been repaired you are giving the insurance company a reason to say the building has not been properly maintained and reject any claim that is made.

    Help on outdoor light

That is a junction box. Probably where the supply cable joins the cable to the light fitting. Can’t tell anything from your picture. Have you checked the bulb or done any tests at all. More info needed ie where is it switched from and a picture of the light fixture would help

    Triple shower valve replacement problem.

Possibly they didn't think of getting a new handle. It still seems to be all you need. It's at least worth trying to find one. From your point of view if not their's. Some good advice from oldbuffer.

    'Isolator'/switch for smoke etc. alarms?

I thought you were asking specifally about smoke alarms. Which as I said could be simply isolated bt the lighting protective device. The whole smoke alarm. I wouldn't have thought it was worthwhile trying to repair one. So the lighting circuit is not going to be isolated for long while it's...

    'Isolator'/switch for smoke etc. alarms?

Why would you want to work on a smoke alarm. Surely you would just isolate the lighting circuit and replace the whole thing. I wouldn't think you would need to have it on a seperate circuit. Wireless Doorbell

Does it work just outside of the house. If it does then it definitely sounds like a range issue of that one and suggests it is faulty ot not as described. So take it back.

    Wireless Doorbell

Does the battery one work in the outhouse or not. Are you saying they both work inside the house but not in the out building. If that is the case then it would suggest that the internal walls are affecting the signal. Perhaps you need some sort of repeater.

    Sloped angle guttering

Personally I would run the long gutter down to a downspout at the LHS of or around the corner of the garage door with a stop end on both ends. Run the shorter gutter to a running outlet and downspout again at or around the corner of the sloping wall. Then on the sloping part fit a gutter with...
