Had leak in roof after weeks of heavy rain, now in process of being fixed. The Rain has ran down between plaster board and no fines concrete wall on outside wall from bedroom to living room. There is slight smell in living room and wall feels cold. Will plaster board dry out in couple of weeks...

The last two days there has been a soot smell in living room,Gas boiler is upstairs and serviced Nov. Next door has gas fire with vent on wall about meter from my window. Does any one have suggestion whwer smell is coming from. thanks
