    Do you think a 3-1 sand cement mix will make much difference to the strength of the new wall, as opposed to a 4-1, bearing in mind it's going to be supporting an RSJ ??

    I asked the engineer for a quote and he said he only fits a certain make and it's a wireless system, and it's going to cost £600+ :eek:. That's no good to me. I want a good old fashioned wired system, as all the wiring is already in, and it's just a case of swapping the control box and panel...
