Hi, Just finishing off the base of a conservatory (my first home built !) The unit is 4m by 4m. I have membrane with is 4.2m by 25m in length. Question is, when I lay the membrane down, I understand I need to bring it up the sides. Considering it will only come up the sides my 10cms...

So Mrs Doobs and I "attempted" to change the bell sounder today. Guess what... It worked :D Thank you for all of the advice and support over the last few weeks. It actually wasnt that difficult to replace, we just took our time and took it steadily. Doobs.

Sparky, is there anyway I can shut down my alarm ts410 so I can replace the bell box? I am thinking turn power off, climb ladder ( alarm is going off ) open alarm, remove battery..silence...lovely... Replace alarm, inc. battery, power up, test ? Does this sound right? Doobs.

Thank you associatedalarms, but £300, seriously?!? for replacing a £25 alarm? I appreciate that as a business you need to make money, call out, running van, office, etc... but we are talking about replacing a unit with what 6 or 7 wires in it? I was under the impression that this forum...

Sparkymarka - so anyone you would suggest out of those? Also, do you have a preferred supplier I could go to? Finally, is there no way to disable the alarm prior to replacing it? I assume it's a straight swap out, connect the cables, swap in? Doobie

Its a generic alarm company one. No leds or lights or anything. Kings and something or other. Any suggestions on what unit I would need to replace it (it is 9 years old now)?
