    New c u cable extension

The POINT is this. The electrician should have a look FIRST. BASED only from the limited pictures we HAVE, get a consumer unit where the main switch is on the RIGHT HAND side. Smaller circuit cables can be easily extended if necessary.

One gang twin switch including intermediate

You should be able to use CLICK POLAR. (Not Click Mode - it's curved.) The switch modules can be removed very easily, and you should be able to a) buy a regular 2 gang 2 way switch, and a regular 1 gang intermediate switch, and alter them. b) or buy most of the separate parts, and build it up.

    Cracking BG800 series faceplates

BG is total rubbish, but shouldn't happen. DO you think you over-tightened the face plate screws? OR, since it's the 2 and 3 gang ones only, is there more wiring at the back, and the back box is too shallow, and you've FORCED the face plate back to the wall, causing strain on the faceplate...

Would recommend you wait until spring or summer before painting that lot.

Blanki g cooker isolation under sink to pass EICR

As said, what's actually wrong with it? Are you concerned it's under a sink? If so, don't be. You can get leaks ANYWHERE.

    Bubbling paint

So it's always going to get wet then? Did you apply a mist coat to bare plaster first? Are you using bathroom paint? Could you tile this area?

Any information on these vintage items?

And rated at 15 amp. I envisaged this would be used for adding a new circuit such as an immersion, or a 15 amp socket, or lights - where the existing fuse box would be full. I don't think a double pole switch was considered important. I think even as recent as the early 60s, a fuse carrier as...

Any information on these vintage items?

Would that be primarily for double pole fusing? Can't really see what else you could do with it, without effort. EDIT. Whoops, it says DP on the box, so...

    Bubbling paint

You say the wall is wet. Do you know HOW the wall is getting wet? Is it getting wet from the outside of the wall? Or id the wall getting wet behind the paint?

Allowable Cooker Connection Unit outlet plate positions behind built-in oven?

I'd be inclined to fit a 13amp unswitched FCU behind the oven - just in case some engineer came to mend the oven, and said it's out of guarantee because no 13amp fuse. However, tomorrow I'd be probably inclined to say something completely different, and say that the 16 or 20 amp mcb or rcbo is...

    Doorbell

Yes, it will have been a doorbell with a built-in transformer once upon a time. Seem to recall they were all the rage in the early 2000s.

Changing back to standard light switch

Read this above. And get rid of that link wire.

Changing back to standard light switch

You have copied the other switch 2 gang switch exactly, which is the wrong thing to do. I didn't think you were going to copy the other switch as directly as that. Thought it was just the hall 2 way bit you were stuck on. There SHOULDN'T be a link wire for a start. Remove the link. Observe that...

    Repair Paint Damage

If I was you, I'd buy a tin or tins of whatever you think is the correct paint, carefully scoop out a brush-full, carefully put the lid on, and take it back to the shop.
