Defo replace at that age it has served you well to last this long! Pipe layouts for the puma were different to the standard layout IIRC, its not a mega job to swap pipes round anyway (usually) some parts are going obsolete on the puma aswell.

Have you tried lighting with a blow lamp? Is there any gas at all coming through even a little? Please join the combustion chamber for more advice, you wont get much help in this section for gas repairs.

I bet they have jst broke through theconcrete and tuck the pipe in, it needs to be a purpoe made soakaway or one made from some soil pipe to the correct spec it Must have lime chipping and also be a certain distance from the house, still dosnt look right to me. Make sure the benchmark is filled...
