Hi, there is a noticeable draught blowing in from my living room windows when it's windy outside. It's coming from the bottom, where the metal frame meets the wooden sill, there's a large gap running across. Can I just fill this in with putty from B&Q or somewhere, is that the best solution...

Fixed it :D Both the screws (on the side) needed adjusting. Now it closes itself very smoothly and shuts without slamming :D Now why didn't I do that six years ago when I moved here? :oops: Thanks again for your help.

I haven't actually taken the cover off yet. But it looks quite similar to the first one in your pdf link. I'm a complete novice at these things, is it just a case of prising the case off with a screwdriver then turning the right adjustment screw?

I live in a block of flats and there's a Yale door closer on the entrance door. It has never worked since I've been here (six years). The door always slams shut instead of closing slowly. Can it be adjusted, or will it have to be replaced?
