I have a fairly hefty couple of steel stansions and girder running across the kitchen. At some point i will get someone in to part p the lot, However will this thing need bonding and therefore should i wait before plastering it up?
Just ran some pipe down the wall, where the new sink etc will go. Should the pipes coming down the wall be chased in (15mm) or will a thicker dot and dab bring it out far enough to conceal the pipe?
its linked into the main drain. It used to be the old waste pipe, as it used to be the outside wall. At the moment it just sits a foot up from the floor and is just covered for now. Waiting to be connected or just cut off and capped if we dont use it.
Im thinking of putting a toilet under the stairs, i do have a soil pipe in the garage (which is the other side of the wall) that was left accesible in the corner for this very reason.
However it cant vent up as there is a bedroom above it now.
So i could either
a) Just not vent the...
the first one is what i had in mind - although i wondered if there were any that wrapped around the steel for greater strength.
the second shot-fired looks sturdier but will leave the joist higher than id like.
any thoughts?
