posted atopic other day regarding a vibrating noise from boiler had a new fan fitted 2 weeks ago and since the boiler has ben making a loud vibrating noise only now and again,had bg out they said it were the casing vibrating nothing u can do about it,only when he took the casing off it still...

we have 2 pipes that run straight down the side of the boiler and into the kitchen these has started to make a vibrating noise when the boiler is heating up now and again can this be caused by the casing rattling as they do touch the boiler slightly

bg came today its the casing vibrating

and also the casing feels quite warm

i posted a topic few days ago regarding a vibrating noise coming from the boiler which is a glow worm compact. had the fan replaced last week, and now its making a loud intermitent vibrating noise got bg coming out on tuesday to have a look. but today the heating has been on for nearly 2 hours...

i havnt got a clue how to do it ive got bg coming out on tuesday

been stood listening to it and it seems to make noise just before it cuts out as in firing up and of

more of a vibrating rattling noise im only asking as ive got the heating on and the noise is worrying me

hi got a glowworm compact combi and ive noticed the pressure has dropped a little over the past few days it was set at 1.3 and now its reading 1.1 is this normal many thanxs

just wanted to let u know it was the fan got bg out just incase anyone else has the same problem

everything working ok heating and hot water still but its just making this noise

yes but it was there first visit initial inspection and it dindnt do the noise while the bloke was here i told him about it and he just nodded his head
