    sorry just re read post depends on old wood and if its sound id clad over be loads cheaper and half the time . 9 times out of 10 no need to replace timber any rotten parts can be choped out and redone. still £3200 is silly money!!!

    i would say its no more than £800 to buy the matarials to do the job and thats ott ! ive heard of people charging £40-£50 per meter in labour but you can do 5 meters in around 20 mins !! they know how to charge

    mw is right a 2 part spiggot can be bought from eurocell or roplas but WILL work fine with standard offsets for any downpipe (square or round) ive never found this way to be a ball ache !!

    or you could go to your local pvcu fitters yard and ask if they have any old doors they have taken off ! i get loads of these (hard wood too ) and give them away (saves on skips ) even if it costs you a 10er happy days :wink:
