Hi All, I'm most of the way through replacing an existing conservatory and thinking about putting an engineered wood floor down. I don't have any restrictions on the floor height, so was going to put a vapour barrier then 18mm plywood down on top of the existing sound tiles/concrete floor...

The timber batons are 30mm thick (although at spaced off the wall in places as it is not straight) with 10mm board. I could drop the cable behind the rails so will have a little more protection but still within 50mm of the front of the board and under the windowboard.

Hi, Being very careful with wording but I'm looking for a rotary isolator which allows the feed cable to enter from the rear (i.e. Through the wall). I believe not all rotary isolators have this capability. Does anyone know a brand that does? Many thanks, Damian

Thanks chaps for feedback - think I get the gist of cables in a cavity. If I was to put the cables in the cavity in say a 20mm or 25mm flexible conduit, would that be more acceptable?

Just to close this one out... In the end I ended up with Johnstone's Acrylic Durable Matt. Much cheaper than Dulux, ,attached close to the Dulux but I slightly better colour IMO and some decent reviews. Thanks for the input.
