What is the prep ? Does it say. Is it one coat of screed Liquid Dpm ?

That must include the preparation of the sub floor.

30m2 was he including adhesive with that ? We would be about that with vat . Any prep work would be extra. Like liquid Dpm and any screeding.

Why not use quickstep impressive laminate. Will last years. Waterproof coating on top. Less prep is needed.

You sure it’s not supply & fit ? Labour on fitting amtico herringbone we charge £30m2 plus vat so approx £630 plus vat. Supplying amtico signature approx £1500 plus vat Adhesive £65 inc vat Prep depending but a normal 5mm smoothing compound £250 / £300 plus vat

We had a few of them type sub floors asphalted. We filled in the voids were the timber was with ardex na and a46 rapid and then got a 20mm of flooring grade asphalt. Very popular in the north west.

For that carpet the gripper should be 4-5mm off the skirting

Always best to prime mate. Holds reduce pinholes and helps the compound flow better. You want a 4-1 mix with P131 over the sub floor

For me Fill in holes with ardex na or A46 rapid repair then ardex DPM1c painted 2 inches on the walls as well.

If you let it tack off dry it will release. Done it a few times. Can you make a hatch.

I did mean f46 mate. Maybe use polysafe quicklay or Altro expresslay

Who is the manufacturer? You shouldn’t float any herringbone wood. All should be fixed to the sub floor?
