That never crossed my mind, but could be an option. The sink waste connects into the soil pipe, which can be accessed in storage cupboard more or less underneath the bathroom. Don't mind boxing in their. Cheers

That's what i thought would be the case. We wanted a low profile shower tray where the bath is, so the sink waste would have to be moved. Have to have a rethink then. Cheers

Wife wants sink moved when doing bathroom. At the moment the waste runs above the floorboards under the bath & then connects to bath waste & then into soil pipe. We are going to replace bath with a shower & want the sink waste under the boards but because the joists run the opposite way, is...

Might be a silly question but is it ok to put insulation around the soil pipe? Had boxing off & there's nothing around it. The bathroom hopefully will be done in the near future & because it's not the warmest of rooms, im thinking it might help a little bit. Not sure if it will make much/any...

I assume it won't have a detrimental effect on the insulation already there then? It's obvious that the previous owner/owners have had issues with penetrating damp & condensation in that area. When it fills the gap between the walls, is there any chance of future moisture/damp problems coming...
