    Almost certainly rats. They'll shift that lot in no time at all. We had a load in our shed last year, they came up off the fields, along a water run-off pipe. If you do block off their entrance hole expect them to simply make another! as said wood is no problem for them to get through...

    Cheers Tipper, i guess i'll need to put PTFE in the thread where the tap hose connects to the pipework then, as this is a thread-to-thread joint, with a rubber washer in the end of the hose?! Or am confussing the issue?

    Yes, the current pipes are nut and olive, they come out of the main feed from a tee, there is a short length of 15mm pipe on the end of which is the nut and olive, this then connects to a smaller diameter copper pipe with another nut and olive, runs for about 300mm into an 'upside down Y' where...

    I've just bought a new maixer unit for the kitchen sink, and the hose connectors are about 20mm too short to connect to the orignal fitting. I'm no plumber so sorry if this seems a bit simple... The current fixing to the mixer tap is of copper pipe, the hot/cold feeds mix before reaching...

    As i recall (bearing in mind it happened ages ago), battery died, so changed it with the one in the charger, tried it again, and still no joy, then it started to smell and the battery felt quite warmer - much more than you'd expect having been in the charger - then it made a sizzleing sound...

    the brake will kick in, if after releaseing the trigger, you press it again lightly, but as i know know the garrentee is two years, i might as well get it replaced! can't pass up a 'shiny "new" toy - for free! :D

    Anyone had experience of this? I bought a Ryobi combi drill about 20 months ago, and noticed that the electric brake seems to no longer work. At least most of the time... basically 2 times out of 3 the chuck keeps spinning after you let go of the trigger :? Other than that it seems fine...
