Hi, i currently have carpet covering floorboards that are in very good (as new) condition, i am thinking of taking up the carpet and staining them, im after a nice dark brown with a satin effect, bit like an old pub floor style, what products should i be using and should i roller or brush or what ?

hi, thanks for your reply, i am unable to get to the nut that holds the waste as it is through a hole cut in the vanity unit, and then through the worktop, so i dont think i have any option other than to remove the sink, just given it a good rock but it feels solid !
