Hi My boiler keeps on losing pressure so I found out that the towel rail valve is leaking. Does anyone know if this can be replaced? The leak is on the left side dial. There is a dial on the right side as well. Is one of the dials a trv?. Pics attached. Any help greatly appreciated.

Been really ill for 2wks. Measures rads and the total btu is 57548. Thats well under what you said for a 28kw boiler, but I think my boiler is 24kw.

Hi I've checked the valve pins before. One was a bit tight but thats okay now. Pipes are standard size whatever that is. I was told by my builder. In terms of draining the system, that is too technical for me. I would need step by step guidance.

Hi I did that and all bar one were working. The next day 2 rads weren't heating up so had to fiddle with it again. The rads seem to have a mind of their own and is a constant struggle everyday messing about with the rads.

Hi I tried balancing the rada by turning them half a turn and trv up to 5. But the upstairs 3 upstairs rads would not heat up. Then I turned the lockshield to a full turn but still 2 would not heat up. When I turn 3 of the rads trv to 3 then only 1 upstairs rad does not work but the 3 rads with...

Hi Thanks for the advice. I will try what you said about trying to balance the rads. I will measure all the rada and see if the btu is okay. Is there a chance that some of the rads are fitted wrong way. Some have trv on left shile others have it on the right.

Also does anyone know what the w little switches on the trv are? They are grey and black and can be pushed down or up.

Hi I've tried to balance all the rads but there is 2 that are still not coming on. One is luke warm and the other is stone cold, even the pipes. Do u thing it could be the pump.

Hi I didnt under Hi I didnt understand the first part of your reply in regards to measuring rads and mathing the sizes on a website? The lockshields are mainly open 1/4 of the way on the ones that always turn on. 3 of them ard on full.

Hi The boiler heat is set to maximum and it doesn't cycle on and off. Do u think that the boiler might not be powerful enough to run all the rads and towel rails.

Bathrooms have extractor fans. Airbricks at base of house. Small round air vents inbetween ground and 1st floor and also on soffit boards.

I'll take ur advice and use high quality silicone to replace affected areas.
