    as the tittle says, my downstairs toilet water, after flushes rises to the top of the bowl and then goes down the pan underneath the normal water line and stays there. any suggestions please of what this may be and how to repair it ?

    Whirlpool Oven Seals

    i work for northumbrian water up in newcastle, and i know this water board has to provide enough water pressure at the tap, not just the boundary. ( not sure of the pressure's ) phone them, its worth a try, the worst they can say is "no"

    the water board will be able to check the flow and pressure rate from outside the building. if it is to low then its the water boards problem.

    the waste water will flush away if you bend the flexiable waste pipe in a S shape as you say. it will flush away as long as the pipe isnt running at an incline, just as long as the flexible watse pipe is either in a downward or a horizontal postion.

    wet patch removal ?

    i had a leak in my bathroom and the wet patch in the kitchen (the room underneath the bathroom) ceiling and wall will not go away. i have tried painting on those "wet patch removal" paints but it doesnt seems to do the trick. the wall and the ceiling are plaster, anyone got any ideas i can try ?

    Flow and Return

    in a nut shell. the flow should always be hotter than the return pipe. in hot water boilers , coming from the boiler it pumps hot (flow) water around the systems pipe work and it cools down in the system (return) and retunrs to the boiler to start the cycle again.

    ill do that mate but i have put the highest level of water into the cistern that it will take i know your only supposed to put in 6 litres now but i think i put more in cheers
