    Peashooter/Nail Punch?

Now that's a good idea. But 10mm would be too loose for the nails.. does threaded rod come in smaller gauge?

    Peashooter/Nail Punch?

Anyone know where these can be gotten or fabricated for a reasonable price in the UK? Normally on formwork jobs you have a welder tack a heavy bolt to a steel rod and cut some sleeve from a fence rib or such but I haven't been on a site with welders on it for years now and could use a new one...

    shallower worktop bolts?

Biscuit jointed some 20mm planks but still not closed (think my error was not tightening regularly as they shrank once indoors) so was thinking of worktop jointing bolts but do they come in anythng as shallow as 10mm.. the planks are too shallow for 20mm deep fittings?

Thanks for the replies. I need the length as these are to attach flaps on an island breakfast bar. The holes have been overdrilled with me faffing about plus i want to be sure of the stregth on the hinge side if eg. someone falls against it when open. Guess i'll have to source a metal...

    Quality of Silverline levels

I have to say that has not been my experience. Silverline levels are cheap crap.. chanced one or two in the past and they were inaccurate and easily damaged. I have 3 different sizes of the Draper set and not only are they bang-on for accuracy but very well made.. most importantly with solid...

    Quality of Silverline levels

If you want something a bit more affordable than the gold standard Stabila's.. the recent range from Draper are brilliant. Had them in a few sizes and they're great.. accurate and well built/sturdy. E.g...

    Pegboard?

Ok, thanks for the tips. I was cutting some 6mm mdf today and that 3.2 seems too thin anyway so will prob go with a thicker board. I see a lot of specialty hooks/hangars on ebay etc but isnt the best arrangement just small pegs arranged to best suite the shape of the tool when flat? How do you...

    Pegboard?

Damn, thats gonna stick out a good bit. Is that depth neccessary for getting the fittings on? Won't work on the flat?

    Makita LS1040

I've got the above chopsaw and am now getting a lot of splintering on the underside when cutting as the gap in the plastic support is too wide. Anyone know where you can order these without getting reamed?

    Pegboard?

It would be indoors.. how deep do you need to batton them and how far apart? So how did it go big-all? :)
